Beautiful Chalet style home in the amenity filled Saw Creek Estates. There are so many things to do in this area for anyone who wishes to get out and about or just relax by the cozy fire and enjoy the view. You can see from the amenities listed below, just how much there is to do. If you are looking for a vacation home that is meticulosuly neat and clean and where you can literally feed the deer as they walk across the driveway each evening, then this is the place for you. Directions: NJ Turnpike to Route 80 west. Take to exit 309 Marshalls Creek. Head North on Route 209 approximately 10 miles. You will need to make a left at the traffic light after seeing several signs "Fernwood Resort" and Saw Creek Estates" After making a left, stay on this road for approximately 5 miles passing a small shopping center on the right. This road will lead you right into Saw Creek Estates. There is a guard booth where you will need to check in and show ID. Additional directions including access codes to home are given after bookings. AMENITIES ON SITE: There are several indoor and outdoor pools, several indoor and outdoor tennis courts (reservation of court may be required rackets are required) there is are two hot tubs and an indoor gym. There is also the onsite bar and resturant at the Top of the World Clubhouse which boasts one of the nicest views of the Bushkill mountain area. AMENITIES OFF SITE: Camelback and Shawanee parks are less than a fifteen minute drive. Both offer great skiing in the winter and both transform into water parks during the summer. The Delaware River runs right through this area. Take a raft, canoe or kyack down the river from a number of locations (Bases) There are choices for access for novices/begginers as well as access points for experienced river people who wish to endulge in No. 5 rapis which can be found near Skinners Falls. Bushkill Falls is just a fifteen minute drive for either a half day or full day hike along some unique water falls in the area. The Historic-Appalachian Trail runs right through the area for a walk into history along parts of the Delaware River. For the shopper: There are enough shops along Route 209 as well as the Giant Flea Market to melt your charge card. Enjoy! When you arrive at the Chalet, you will find a resource book with other more specific information about locations to check out and adventures that have been taken by guests of the home along with directions and notations about the pros and cons of various experiences. This has proven to be an invaluable resourse of information for all guests as they want to get the best out of their stay.
